Job summary

Mirakl is seeking an AI Research Intern in Paris to join the R&D team and help design routing methods for selecting language models. You will work with 5 Research Engineers within a 70-person Data department on real product data, focusing on LLM routing, cost, and latency trade-offs.

The role requires a Master’s in applied math or related field, strong ML/deep learning skills, and fluency in French with professional English. The internship may lead to a permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Final year of a Master’s degree (Bac+5) in applied mathematics or related field.
• Solid grounding in statistics, machine learning, and deep learning.
• Familiarity with data preparation techniques and feature engineering.
• Demonstrated interest in research and ability to read academic papers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a literature review of LLM routing approaches to map state of the art.
• Design and implement a routing method to select language models for tasks.
• Evaluate solutions on real product data measuring quality, cost, latency.
• Collaborate with Research Engineers and Data Scientists to iterate on hypotheses.
• Document findings and present results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
