Job summary

Bizzdesign is seeking a skilled Network & System Engineer in Paris to design, deploy, and maintain enterprise networks and global SaaS infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security across regions.

You will collaborate with DevOps, Security and IT teams, manage virtualization, cloud services (AWS, Azure, hybrid), firewalls, VPNs, and automation tooling. Fluency in English, French, and German is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in enterprise network and systems engineering.
• Fluent in English, French, and German; multilingual is a plus.
• Experience with enterprise networks, routing/switching, VLANs, firewalls, and WAN/LAN.
• Hands-on with servers, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), storage systems, and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong scripting and automation capabilities.
• Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards.
• Knowledge of high-availability and disaster recovery planning.
• Ability to work across global, cross-functional teams.

The Role – What You’ll Do

As a Network & System Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise networks and IT systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security for our global SaaS infrastructure.

• Designing, configuring, and managing enterprise network architectures across multiple locations
• Maintaining servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, hybrid)
• Monitoring network and system performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing high-availability solutions
• Managing firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and security protocols to safeguard critical infrastructure
• Supporting IT automation, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code initiatives (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell)
• Implementing and monitoring backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies
• Collaborating with DevOps, Security, and IT teams to optimize network performance, security, and compliance
• Documenting network configurations, system architectures, and operational procedures for global teams
• Evaluating and integrating emerging technologies to improve system efficiency, security, and scalability

About You – What You Bring

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field

• 5-8+ years of experience in enterprise network and system engineering
• Fluency in English, French, and German (verbal and written), additional languages a plus
• Expertise in enterprise networks, routing/switching, VLANs, firewalls, and WAN/LAN architectures
• Hands-on experience with servers, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), storage systems, and cloud infrastructure
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform)
• Experience with security frameworks, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and compliance standards
• Knowledge of high-availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across global, cross-functional teams
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Splunk, or equivalent)
