We are seeking an IT Support & Infrastructure Refresh Engineer to join our team at a client’s facility in Combourg, Brittany, France. This is a six-month contract role with the potential for permanent placement.
The responsibilities include providing technical support to end users for desktop computers, applications, and related technology, interacting with various levels of users including managers and VIPs. Support tasks include specification, installation, testing of computer systems and peripherals, software installation and reinstallation (including remote), IMAC functions, and prioritization of support requests via ServiceNow. The role also involves training and knowledge sharing within teams.
Qualifications include an IT diploma, 2-3 years of experience as an IT support/maintenance technician, strong user support skills, and a good understanding of general IT services including network, security, servers, and telecommunications. Proficiency in Microsoft OS installation and troubleshooting, desktop repair, and excellent customer service orientation are required. Fluency in French and good technical English skills are essential, with the ability to communicate effectively with teams in France, Poland, and India.
