ConSol Partners is seeking a Network Engineer for a 2-year contract in Strasbourg, France, to configure and troubleshoot FortiGate/Checkpoint firewalls, Cisco ACI, F5 load balancers, Certes Technologies, and network cloud technologies within a major European programme.

You will apply change management practices via ServiceNow and collaborate with enterprise teams. Strong networking basics and experience in large organizations are required, with knowledge of ACI advantageous.

Qualifications

• Networking basics: subnetting and VLANs.
• Experience in large organizations (banking, military, service providers).
• Change management experience using ServiceNow.
• Firewall knowledge: Checkpoint and FortiGate; Security GIS awareness.
• Experience with Cisco ACI or basic knowledge.

Our client is a major consultancy delivering a large-scale European programme focused on supporting and enhancing the freedom of movement of EU citizens across member states.

Tasks:

• Setup, configuration and troubleshooting of FortiGate Firewalls;
• Setup, configuration and troubleshooting of Checkpoint Firewalls;
• Setup, configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco ACI;
• Setup, configuration and troubleshooting of F5 load balancers;
• Setup, configuration and troubleshooting of Certes Technologies;
• Setup, configuration and troubleshooting of Network cloud technologies

Requirements:

• Networking basics understanding. Simple like ip subnetting and vlans
• Experience working in big organizations - banking sector, military or service providers.
• Change management experience, ServiceNow tool, firewall rules life cycle management.
• Firewalls: checkpoint /FortiGate knowledge. Security GIS skills.
• Experience with ACI or basic knowledge.
