Responsibilities
- Support and administer Head Office Global Experience Network requirements in the NAF/WAF region.
- Validate expenses related to IT, real estate and headcount, above agency GM limits by reviewing the basis of requests, assessing process accuracy, and liaising with Head Office and Regional Office for approvals.
- Correspond with agencies and the NAF/WAF Regional Office legal team on contracts, third-party agreements, leases.
- Participate in the annual budgeting exercise by coordinating with IT, Finance and Human Resources to ensure timelines and agendas are met in a timely manner.
- Organize and animate information exchange sessions with agencies to share and receive value-added information. Communicate with RO management and HO on a weekly/fortnightly basis to update and receive information on agency matters.
- Monitor key KPIs across the regions, ensure NAF/WAF agencies meet targets, and work with respective functional departments to resolve KPI gaps. Assess GM performance and capability and identify strengths and gaps of NAF/WAF agency teams.
- Conduct needs assessments for new agency setups and ensure deployment is done in a compliant manner. Review office openings/closings and lease decisions.
- Coordinate transversal topics or projects.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of industry experience across shipping or transportation, including international exposure with an multinational company.
- Experience in a matrix environment in large international organizations is ideal.
- Strong influencing and project management skills with solid communication and presentation abilities.
- Knowledge of Commercial and/or Operations functions as well as agency processes.
- Ability to engage diverse stakeholders at various levels with strong communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and the ability to hear diverse opinions.
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of information.
- Ability to handle stress and work with a multi-cultural team across geographies.
- French and English-speaking mandatory.
- Ethics, integrity, and respect for the confidentiality of information.
