About the Role

As the NRM Analytics Manager, you will play a crucial role in upscaling analytics in Consumer Goods across diverse markets in Europe. Your main role will be to drive the NRM analytics roadmap for Consumer Goods EMEA, step-changing the tools, processes and insights that power our data-driven NRM transformation agenda.

Reporting to the Net Revenue Management Lead for Consumer Goods EMEA, you will cooperate closely with relevant stakeholders, such as Regional Net Revenue Managers and Business Development Managers, external agencies, and Regional Customer Marketing Directors, to lead our NRM analytics journey.

This role demands confidence building analytical solutions with commonly used software, a strong understanding of the connections between data and real business challenges, and a desire to see complex tasks through to successful completion.

What You Will Do:

  1. Own the NRM analytics roadmap; prioritise opportunities for upscaled analytics, plan and secure resources, deliver the timeline, and celebrate progress
  2. Build new analytical solutions independently and in collaboration with internal and external experts
  3. Drive new solutions into the Essity way of working with the NRM Excellence Manager
  4. Partner with regional teams to ensure Essity NRM analytical solutions are adopted in practice; through publicising, training, piloting, supporting, and problem-solving

  6. Turn data into actionable insights through project work, reporting, and the annual business planning cycle
  7. Keep benchmarking and up-skilling to stay at the forefront of best-in-class data and analytics for NRM. Bring external expertise into Essity’s way of working, through own work and business case approval for new investments.
  8. Be a connected and contributory part of Essity’s NRM community

Who You Are:

  1. Extensive experience within FMCG within analytical, financial, or commercial roles
  2. Direct experience within Revenue Growth Management (RGM) / Net Revenue Management (NRM) / Commercial Strategy / Market Strategy & Planning (MS&P) beneficial
  3. Exceptional Excel skills. Power BI and Tableau experience beneficial. SQL, Python, or similar competency not expected.
  4. Extensive experience building analytical solutions, such as landscape assessments and predictive financial models
  5. Good understanding of key NRM concepts including Brand Portfolio Pricing, Price Pack Architecture (PPA), Mix Management, Promotion Strategy, and Trade Investment
  6. Confident understanding of NRM analytical principles such as elasticity, ROI, and profit pools
  7. Ability to turn data into actionable insights. Synthesize large, diverse, and complex data sources into simple, understandable descriptions, predictions, and recommendations.
  8. Experience working with insight agencies such as NIQ and Buynomics. Confidence working with econometric and AI-modelling techniques.
  9. Organizational skills; a structured approach to managing projects involving internal & external stakeholders
  10. Excited to pioneer new solutions within Essity; driven to deliver organisational change through adoption of new tools and processes among regional teams
  11. Strong interpersonal and listening skills. Seek & respond to feedback. Work collaboratively.
