Within the Supply Management team, we are currently looking for a Supply Nature and Climate Impact Manager to lead Sodexo efforts to assess and mitigate the environmental impact of its procurement activities. This role will focus on integrating sustainability and climate considerations into procurement strategies, supplier selection, and supply chain management.

Main missions:
Strategic Development and Implementation
– Develop and implement strategy, policies, and practices that minimize negative impacts on nature and climate; aligning with Sodexo's sustainability goals, carbon accounting model, and industry best practices.
– Set global strategies and policies and support local teams in their execution using shared tools and practices.
– Identify sustainable tools and technologies related to sustainability and supply chain management, and recommend innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement.

Risk Mitigation and Compliance
– Identify potential supply chain vulnerabilities related to climate change and develop mitigation strategies with the global and local supply teams.
– Stay informed about international and local environmental regulations and ensure compliance within the supply chain, proactively advocating for necessary changes or improvements.

Data and Performance Measurement
– Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and track progress, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
– Ensure the data accuracy and integrity for performance measurement.

Stakeholder Engagement and Educational Initiatives
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Supply, IT, CSR, Services Innovation, Marketing, Sales), suppliers, and external partners to set clear targets and milestones and implement policies and practices for reducing supply chain impacts.
– Work closely with global suppliers to encourage sustainable practices, responsible sourcing, and carbon reduction initiatives, including the development of sustainable procurement guidelines.
– Contribute to creating awareness and training for internal and external stakeholders regarding supply chain impact management and decarbonization efforts.

Profile

  • Master's degree in supply chain management, environmental science, business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain sustainability, decarbonization, or related roles, with a minimum of 5-7 years in leadership positions.
  • Deep understanding of environmental issues and their implications for supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with relevant environmental regulations and international sustainability standards.
  • Fluency in English (French is a plus).
  • Experience in data and analytics related to sustainability or on equivalent topics, including significant experience in generating, tracking, forecasting, and analyzing quantitative data in coordination with relevant teams.
  • Knowledge of carbon emissions measurement, reduction strategies, and sustainability best practices.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and drive them to completion.
  • Organized and delivery focused.

  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others towards sustainability goals.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners in a collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization and in a non-hierarchical environment.
