Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. We are seeking a Music Production Expert - Hungarian for a remote contract role. Compensation is $20–$36/hour, up to 6 months, with a commitment of 20+ hours per week.

Responsibilities include evaluating AI-generated music, labeling songs, reviewing lyrics, and collaborating with AI teams to improve model outputs. Native or near-native Hungarian required, with 2+ years in music production or related fields.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Hungarian; able to follow detailed written English instructions.
• 2+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer.
• Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.

• Label songs by genre, structure, instruments, vocals, and other musical characteristics.
• Review AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference material for quality and accuracy.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to enhance training data quality and model outputs.

• Native or near-native proficiency in Hungarian, and the ability to follow detailed written instructions in English.


• 2+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer.


• Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.

Preferred

• Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition.


• Credited or commercially released production, engineering, or mixing work.


• Broad familiarity with contemporary Hungarian genres, sub-genres, and artists.
