Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Music Production Expert to evaluate AI-generated music, label tracks, and review lyrics from a Hungarian-speaking perspective. This remote contract role requires 2+ years in music production or audio engineering and access to quality monitoring gear. You will collaborate with AI teams to improve data quality and model outputs, working asynchronously to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native proficiency in Hungarian and ability to follow detailed written instructions in English.
• 2+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer.
• Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated music across genres for musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production/mix quality.
• Label songs by genre, structure, instruments, vocals, and other musical characteristics.
• Review AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference material for quality and accuracy.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to enhance training data quality and model outputs.

Position: Music Production Expert - Hungarian Type: Contract Compensation: $20–$36/hour Location: Remote Duration: Up to 6 months Commitment: 20+ hours/week
