Job summary

Deezer is seeking a Music Operations Assistant for a 6-month internship in Paris, starting January 2027. You will join the Content Operations team and help support editorial and music initiatives, plan and track tasks, and analyze data to drive programming strategies.

Ideal candidates bring a passion for numbers, strong knowledge of pop music, and fluency in French and working-level English. This role offers exposure to cross-functional collaboration with editors, product, CRM, and marketing

Qualifications

• Previous internship will be highly regarded.
• Broad knowledge of popular music.
• Strong understanding of the digital music space.
• Ability to quickly learn to use new software.
• Passion for numbers and statistics, proficiency in Google Sheets, and Google Slides.
• Fluent in French, proficiency in English (working language).

Job Description

In the Content Operations team and reporting to our Content Operations Project Manager you will :

Work alongside our team to support ongoing in-app editorial & music initiatives (seasonal activations, cultural moments, music genres spotlights). You’ll help plan, organize, and track project tasks, ensuring we meet our objectives on time and within scope.

Dive into data, user feedback, and market trends to uncover actionable programming strategies. You’ll use these findings to inform strategic decisions and guide next steps for in-app editorial campaigns.

Help ensure smooth coordination between editors, product teams, and marketing stakeholders. You'll also document processes and help streamline collaboration between Content, Product, CRM, and marketing teams.

Take ownership of smaller editorial & product projects from start to finish. You’ll identify challenges, propose solutions, and share your recommendations in written and verbal presentations.

Participate in brainstorming sessions and actively contribute your ideas to Homepage, Explore page, and Content editorialization projects.

This is a 6-month internship based in Paris, mandatory from January 2027.

Qualifications

Previous internship will be highly regarded
