Job summary

NSG Group/Pilkington North America is seeking skilled Multi‑Craft Maintenance Technicians for our Versailles, KY facility. This hands‑on maintenance role covers electrical and mechanical systems across a 24/7 operation and requires on‑floor presence across shifts.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, read schematics, and work with a team to improve reliability; the 2‑2‑3 Panama schedule offers regular extended time off and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Technical education or significant multi‑craft maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of industrial motors, sensors, drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, and related equipment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues systematically.
• Commitment to safe work practices, including lockout/tagout.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a production environment.
• Willingness to learn new equipment, develop technical skills, and support continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Respond to production equipment breakdowns and work to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and scheduled maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot motors, drives, sensors, electrical circuits, and industrial control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Identify recurring equipment issues and recommend improvements to increase reliability.
• Safely perform maintenance activities using established lockout/tagout procedures.
• Document completed work, equipment deficiencies, and maintenance activities.
• Work with other maintenance technicians, engineers, and production personnel to resolve equipment issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
