Job summary

NSG Group/Pilkington North America is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join our Versailles, Kentucky facility on a day shift. The role involves hands-on maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and automation systems on a 2-2-3 Panama schedule with overtime built-in.

You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with engineers and production staff. Qualified candidates have technical education or significant maintenance experience in industrial settings,

Qualifications

• Technical education or significant multi-craft maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of industrial motors, sensors, drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, and related equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues systematically.
• Commitment to safe work practices, including lockout/tagout.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a production environment.
• Willingness to learn new equipment, develop technical skills, and support continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Respond to production equipment breakdowns and work to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and scheduled maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot motors, drives, sensors, electrical circuits, and industrial control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Identify recurring equipment issues and recommend improvements to increase reliability.
• Safely perform maintenance activities using established lockout/tagout procedures.
• Document completed work, equipment deficiencies, and maintenance activities.
• Work with other maintenance technicians, engineers, and production personnel to resolve equipment issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
