Micron Technology, Inc. seeks an Equipment Operator at MSB, Singapore, to load/unload materials, run multiple machines, and log performance accurately. You will participate in training, maintain 6S at your workstation, and communicate machine status to the lead.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Ideal candidates understand basic English, can work 12-hour shifts with day/night rotation, and are committed to following procedures and pass-downs.

Competenze

• Preferably GCE O/ N/O level or SPM equivalent with a Pass in English Language.
• Ability to understand, read and speak basic conversational English.
• Able to work 12 hours shift with biweekly rotation of day and night shifts.

Your main task will be operating Equipment

• Carrying of materials to load and unload for machines processing.
• Manning of multiple machines
• Demonstrate ability to use computer based programs and applications to perform daily duties
• Provide machine coverage during breaks
• Logging machines accurately
• Monitoring and awareness of equipment performance discrepancies with timely communication to your Lead
• Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.

Ensure Quality of Process and Product

• Run equipment based on current process specifications (e.g. procedures, change notifications, etc.)
• Organize own workstations and ensuring 6S
• Make suggestions to improve quality and safety

Complete Certification and Recertification

• Participate actively in assigned on-the-job and other required training; asking questions to increase knowledge and abilities
• Complete certification requirements by demonstrating understanding and abilities

  Communication Information

  • Receive and understand pass down, providing clear, accurate, and detailed pass down
  • Seek and provide feedback to leadership, coworker, and support groups to make positive changes in performance
  • Offer suggestions towards improvements when appropriate
  • Always seek clarification when in doubt

  • Identify and promptly report hazards

  • Use accurate lifting techniques and work in an ergonomically manner
