Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking engineers to support the maintenance and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment.

The role emphasizes AI-enabled workflows and collaboration with engineers on equipment upgrades and repairs. The position requires a Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic) and a willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts in a semiconductor production environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering; Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic preferred.
• Experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting preferred.
• Knowledge on semiconductor manufacturing process and technologies preferred.
• Able to work on 12 hours rotating shifts preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.
• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings.
• Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
• Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required.
• May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers.
• Knowledge of AI tools and application.
• Leveraging AI proficiency or AI-enabled ways of working where applicable.
