We are looking for an exceptional Motorcycle Technician to join our team. We are leading suppliers of Managed Services within the automotive industry.

Role Overview

The Motorcycle Technician will be building iconic motorcycles that celebrate the past whilst embracing the future. The ideal candidate will be intelligent, resourceful, and creative, with a diverse skill set. They should be a good collaborator and motivator, capable of taking initiative and working autonomously.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate closely with the Prototype build team to build high-quality, reliable prototype vehicles.
2. Support activities such as vehicle builds, fabrication, rig builds, and testing.
3. Support prototype vehicle component manufacture, including modifications from drawings, templates, and 3D CAD images.
4. Develop good working relationships within the team to ensure quick problem resolution and effective communication of technical issues.
5. Adhere to all health and safety policies.
6. Support and maintain product testing and verification, including measurement analysis and reporting.
7. Apply and maintain quality systems in engineering processes for manufacturing products.
8. Optimize manufacturing methods through hands-on build and testing of prototypes.
9. Use specialized equipment and tools to create prototypes according to design specifications.
10. Assist in developing and implementing new prototype processes and procedures.
11. Ensure all prototypes meet quality standards and make adjustments as needed.

Requirements

1. Experience in manufacturing and prototyping.
2. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
3. Proficient in using various hand and power tools.
4. Knowledge of 3D printing and rapid prototyping techniques.
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
