A leading company is offering an internship focused on monitoring ductile fracture using advanced measurement techniques. Interns will perform full-field measurements, analyze data, and contribute to a reliable testing database. This opportunity also leads to a potential PhD thesis on material characterization.
Monitoring Ductile Fracture Using Full Field Measurement Techniques to Build a Testing Database H / F
This internship focuses on using advanced full-field measurement techniques to monitor both material deformation and crack growth on test specimens, with the goal of building a reliable testing database for characterization of ductile fracture. A key aspect of the project is quantifying uncertainties, particularly those caused by measurement noise.
During this internship, you will:
This internship is a spin-off of the ESCALE project, which aims to develop a software sharepoint for material testing based on full-field measurements.
A PhD thesis on material characterization based on the data produced during this internship is scheduled as a continuation.
