The CNRS healthcare field mobilizes interdisciplinary skills to understand the multi-factorial causes of health and disease, aiming at therapeutic innovation. This project focuses on identifying and characterizing natural products with therapeutic potential, their targets, and mechanisms of action, to develop new therapeutic solutions.
The ICSN laboratory develops new drug candidates, exploiting large collections of natural compounds. The project aims to identify new biological targets and drugs, especially against resistance, by screening ICSN's collections and focusing on two research areas:
The research can be applied to university teaching, aligning with the needs for bachelor's and master's degrees. The CNRS promotes open science, making research outputs accessible and reusable, and values qualitative evaluation of researchers.
Results will be disseminated through publications, patents, software, and communicated to diverse audiences via various channels. The project encourages engagement with society, informing public decision-making and initiating participatory science initiatives.
Applicants must hold a doctorate or equivalent. There are no restrictions on age or nationality. CNRS positions are accessible to people with disabilities with appropriate accommodations.
