A leading gaming company in Saint-Mandé is seeking a passionate market analyst to influence product strategy. You will analyze mobile games and trends to enhance our gaming experiences. Ideal candidates should have a strong background in business or game design, excellent communication skills in English, and a deep interest in mobile gaming. Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Communication, Game Design or equivalent required.
  • Curious and creative with a great knowledge of mobile gaming.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French.
  • Willingness to analyze and deconstruct various mobile games.

Missions:

As part of the editorial team at Ketchapp, you will play a major role in influencing our product strategy by analyzing, deconstructing & reporting hyper- & hybrid-casual market trends.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Playing and analyzing numerous top games from competitors, to produce in-depth presentations detailing their main mechanics (with a specific focus on habit forming & economy design-related features)
  • Monitoring, playing & reviewing soft-launched new games from the competition, to identify new gameplay trends & allow our production teams to stay at the cutting edge of innovation.
  • Understanding the big picture of the market by analyzing available data (downloads, in-app purchase revenues…) and synthesizing existing studies from various sources (blogs, conferences, articles…)
  • Creating the most relevant supports (presentations, videos, articles…) to share your learnings with the Game Designers & Development teams, improve their market knowledge & elevate the quality of our products.
Qualifications
  • With a degree in Business, Communication, Game Design or equivalent, you are keen to put your knowledge into practice in a very dynamic market.
  • Curious, creative and rigorous, you have a great knowledge of the mobile gaming world and a genuine interest in learning more about it
  • You are ready to spend a lot of time playing & deconstructing a lot of different mobile games
  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as a well-developed critical sense (design, UX/UI…)
  • You have a very good level of English, enabling you to interact regularly both orally and in writing with non-French speakers;
  • Excellent proficiency of the Office suite is required, particularly Power Point (aesthetic & effective presentations);
  • A good Knowledge of Photoshop & Premiere Pro would be a plus.
