Job summary

Waiv is building the world's leading AI diagnostic product for clinical routine. As a Machine Learning Engineering Intern, you will contribute to advancing AI in life sciences and help build robust ML pipelines for medical data analysis, working with histology images and cancer diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s degree in a relevant field and strong programming skills.
• Proficient in Python; experience with ML frameworks and medical imaging is a plus.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities; fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, PMs and software engineers.
• Support design, training and integration of ML models for medical images.
• Contribute to development and validation of AI models for clinical use.
• Help build scalable ML pipelines for production environments.
• Establish evaluation/monitoring methodologies for model performance.
• Translate advanced research into practical, production-ready solutions.
