Job summary

Eutelsat is seeking an enthusiastic and rigorous IRIS² MCC Integration, Testing and Validation Software Engineer to drive the integration, verification, validation, deployment and readiness of the MCC software suite. You’ll work at the intersection of software engineering and mission operations within a European program connecting LEO/MEO assets and ground systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Aerospace engineering or related.
• Proven experience (three years or more) in software integration, verification, validation or testing for complex, distributed or mission-critical systems.
• Experience with system-level IVV, integration laboratories, test benches or operational software environments.
• Strong understanding of distributed software architectures, interfaces, APIs, asynchronous messaging and state/stream-based data exchanges.
• Practical experience with REST APIs and structured message/schema validation.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the integration, verification and validation of MCC software and its interfaces across the IRIS² Ground Segment.
• Supervise MCC implementation and the integration, testing and validation activities by MCC contractor.
• Participate in validation of MCC functions including resource orchestration and planning, control-plane orchestration, component management and monitoring.
• Collaborate in building and maintaining test environments on containerized Ground Segment infrastructure across sites.
• Coordinate defect investigation, change requests and regression testing with developers and suppliers.
• Maintain IVV documentation and assist with software packaging, deployment and release validation.
