ThunderSoft is seeking an experienced Android integration engineer to join a team developing and qualifying Ingenico middleware on Android terminals. You will integrate new middleware components, install and qualify software deliveries, and validate API integration.

The role involves defining validation plans, executing tests, reproducing issues, and contributing to automation and CI/CD efforts. A strong background in Android Studio, Java, Kotlin, and optional C/C++ is required.

Qualifications

• Experienced – minimum 3 years in Android development integration.
• Proficiency with Android Studio; Java and Kotlin knowledge mandatory.
• C/C++ knowledge appreciated.

Responsabilités

• Develop and qualify middleware components for Ingenico Android platforms.
• Define and execute validation plans and non-regression tests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams through bug tracking (JIRA/Confluence).
• Contribute to CI/CD and automated validation pipelines.

Description du poste

Work in a team of engineers involved in development and qualification of INGENICO products.

Integrate, qualify and validateContribute to the development all middleware components according to project goals, schedules, and resource planning. Review and provide input to test plans. Be able to perform complex testing in order toto verify design.

Issue a test book which certifies a set of tests passed.

Interface with other functional groups with Bug Ticketing corporate tool (JIRA/Confluence).

The mission consistsconsists of in the assistanceassisting for the support & the development middleware components integration of our new platform Axium Unified.DXMOBILE solution for Android terminals.

More precisely, the objective is to develop & support some new applications like:

Software integration

• Integrate new Middleware components on Ingenico Android platforms.
• Install and qualify software deliveries.
• Check dependencies between BSP, Android services and Middleware.
• Perform deployment and update operations on terminals.

Functional validation

• Define and execute validation plans.
• Verify the proper operation of Middleware APIs.
• Run non-regression test campaigns.
• Validate the integration of new features before delivery.

Issue analysis

• Reproduce issues and identify their root cause.
• Track fixes in collaboration with developers.

Automation and continuous improvement

• Develop and maintain test environments.
• Contribute to the automation of validation campaigns.
• Participate in improving software quality processes.
• Contribute to CI/CD activities and automated validation pipelines.

Skills of the consultant

Experienced – minimum 3 years in Android development integration

The position requires a good knowledge of development using Android studio. The knowledge of JAVA, Kotlin, languages is mandatory.

A good knowledge of C & C++ will be appreciated.
