JobCubby, on behalf of a partner company, is seeking a Middle to Senior Python Developer based in France. You will build and evolve high-performance backend systems within an iGaming technology environment, using Python and Django to deliver scalable services and product capabilities.

You'll own architectural decisions, work with payment integrations and data providers, ensure production reliability, and collaborate with an international team to drive quality and growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong professional knowledge of Python 3.x and Django.
• Experience designing and developing complex, highly loaded, and scalable systems.
• Strong understanding of general software engineering principles, including design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Intermediate English proficiency or higher, with the ability to collaborate effectively in an international environment.
• Experience in the iGaming or sports betting industry.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve technical challenges quickly and efficiently.
• High level of independence, responsibility, initiative, and attention to detail.
• Flexible yet systematic approach to solving complex engineering problems.
• Ability to break down large and complex tasks into clear, actionable components.
• A strong commitment to quality and thoughtful engineering practices.
• Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases, with an understanding of their respective characteristics and use cases, is a plus.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, and Redis is beneficial given the existing technology environment.
