About Us
As an innovative technology company and pioneer in the field of high-performance displays, we develop the latest generation of microelectronic components. Our work focuses on advanced display solutions, including microLEDs based on 3D GaN nanowires on silicon. As part of our team expansion, we are looking for a
Device Engineer passionate about semiconductors and disruptive innovation.
Your role
Reporting to the Head of the Device and Process Integration department, you will be at the heart of optimizing the performance of µLEDs developed internally. You will be involved in the advanced electro-optical characterization of components, the analysis of fundamental physical phenomena (charge transport, recombination), as well as the definition of concrete improvement solutions in interaction with the project's multidisciplinary teams.
Your missions
Optimization of µLEDs
- Analyze the electro-optical performance of µLEDs (efficiency, uniformity, defectivity).
- Study the mechanisms of recombination and charge transport in structures.
- Define and implement experimental designs to improve performance.
- Coordinate actions with the epitaxy, characterization, design and process teams.
Characterization methodology
- Establish suitable characterization plans (CL, PL, TEM, Raman, EDX, EBIC, IVLT).
- Work closely with simulation and development teams.
- Guarantee the quality, reliability and traceability of the measurements carried out.
Development of testing means
- Adapt or design specific measuring benches.
- Develop data analysis routines that can be used by operational teams.
- Maintain technological monitoring of characterization tools.
Documentation and quality
- Write detailed technical reports.
- Present the results and analyses at the project meeting.
- Participate in the implementation of quality procedures and root cause analysis.
Innovation and intellectual property
- Contribute to the identification of technological barriers and the creation of patents.
Required Profile
Education & Experience
- Bac+5 to Bac+8 diploma (Master, Engineer, Doctorate) in materials physics, microelectronics, or semiconductors.
- Experience desired in an R&D, industrial or academic environment with high technological content.
Technical Skills
- Mastery of III-V semiconductors, particularly GaN.
- Strong experience in advanced electro-optical characterization.
- Knowledge of test bench development and complex data analysis.
Languages
- Fluent English essential (written and oral).
Personal qualities
- Analytical and synthetic mindset, autonomy, rigor.
- Good interpersonal skills and a taste for working in a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to evolve in an innovative and demanding environment.
