An established industry player is seeking a Manager Naval Architect to oversee ship design and building phases. This role involves managing daily naval architectural routines, collaborating with various teams, and participating in innovative new build projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in naval architecture, with at least 10 years of experience in the cruise shipbuilding industry. You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulations while exploring new design ideas and technologies. Position Summary
The Manager Naval Architect manages daily ship project naval architectural routines for specified Vessel Classes during their design and building phases. Participation in the concept design process for upcoming new build projects also belongs to his/her focus areas. The Manager Naval Architect works closely with the teams of Maritime Technology and other naval architects, assisting experts with technology development and research in addition to various new build-related technical projects such as technical feasibility studies and verification of new technologies.

Qualifications
M. Sc. Naval Architect or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of naval architecture in the cruise shipbuilding industry.
Physical Demands

The environment includes work inside/outside the office, travel to other offices, as well as domestic, international, and shipboard travel.
