NES Fircroft is seeking a highly experienced Lead Installation Methods Engineer to lead installation engineering activities on complex offshore and subsea developments based in the Paris area, France, with offshore missions. You will lead cross-disciplinary teams, review calculations and procedures, and interface with stakeholders, offshore operations and subcontractors to ensure safe, practical solutions.

• Extensive experience in Offshore Installation or Subsea Methods Engineering.
• Experience leading engineering teams on complex installation projects.
• Strong knowledge of offshore construction vessels and marine operations.
• Experience preparing and reviewing installation methodologies and studies.
• Fluent English in professional communication.
• BOSIET, CA-EBS and Offshore Medical certificates desirable.

Lead Installation Methods Engineer

We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Installation Methods Engineer to lead installation engineering activities on complex offshore and subsea developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate installation engineering activities across multiple work packages.
• Review and approve calculations, procedures, and technical deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Interface with project stakeholders, offshore operations, and subcontractors.
• Ensure engineering solutions are practical, safe, and executable offshore.
• Support critical installation campaigns and major offshore operations.
• Contribute to project planning, risk assessments, and operational readiness reviews.

Technical Scope

• Pipelines (J-Lay, Reel-Lay, S-Lay)
• Risers
• Spools and Jumpers
• Subsea Structures
• Umbilicals and Flexible Flowlines
• FPSO-related installations
• Mooring Systems and Offshore Loading Facilities

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Offshore Installation or Subsea Methods Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams and complex installation projects.
• Strong understanding of offshore construction vessels and marine operations.
• Experience preparing and reviewing installation methodologies and engineering studies.
• Fluent English.
• BOSIET, CA-EBS, and Offshore Medical certificates are highly desirable.
