We are partnered with a market leading M&A Insurance Broker that is looking to grow their team in Paris with a recent law graduate that would be interested in growing a career in the M&A space.

What is the role?

This is an exciting opportunity within our Client’s M&A division for a bright and enthusiastic person seeking to build a career in the Insurance industry. This is a great opportunity to utilize your legal experience in a much more commercial and entrepreneurial environment.

What will you be doing?

  • Deal with incoming enquiries from clients, insurers and third parties
  • Develop strong relationships with markets and with clients
  • Advise our clients on legal issues during their corporate transactions
  • Ensure up to date records are always maintained on the Company systems
  • Ensure correct authorisation is obtained and processes followed when required by the Company and /or Group policies and procedures
  • Provide relevant management information to senior management
  • Manage assigned projects and contribute to other projects as required
  • Respond appropriately to urgent issues as they arise
  • Keep informed of all legal and regulatory developments relevant to the department
  • Deliver a personal performance that contributes towards the Company achieving its objectives
  • Ensure all dealings are carried out with integrity and professionalism
  • Continuously develop skills and knowledge

What do you need to apply to this role?

  • A degree in Law is required
  • Experience of working in high pressure, multi-task, customer focused environments
  • A desire to build a career within the insurance industry
  • Ability to network extensively and can build sustainable working relationships
