Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Cost Manager – MEP in Paris to lead cost management across mechanical and electrical packages for data centre projects. You will work with diverse teams to ensure cost certainty and commercial control throughout the project lifecycle.

You will gain exposure to major MEP installations, develop technical and commercial expertise, and drive value for clients while maintaining strong client and contractor relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre- and post-contract cost management for MEP building services.
• Strong understanding of cost forecasting and budget control for data centre projects.
• Ability to manage valuations, variations and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre- and post-contract cost management across M&E packages on data centre construction and other critical infrastructure projects.
• Prepare cost estimates, cost plans and budget forecasts for major M&E installations, including electrical distribution and cooling systems.
• Manage valuations, cost reports, variations and change orders with accurate financial reporting.
• Support tender and procurement activities from documentation to recommendations for best value.
• Manage contractual issues, including losses, variations and disputes, ensuring timely resolution.
• Assist with final accounts preparation and negotiation to substantiate costs.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors and clients to maintain cost control.
