Job summary

Amazon Inc. (AWS Unidade) seeks a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to drive megawatt-scale SST concepts for data center power delivery. You will own DAB, CLLC, and series-resonant stages, select SiC devices, and lead design reviews to ensure scalable, efficient, and reliable architectures.

You will collaborate with front-end, controls, magnetics, and cooling teams, mentor engineers, and contribute to patents and roadmaps that shape next-generation data center power systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with SiC high-voltage power-electronics.
• Experience scaling power conversion from prototype to deployment.
• Ability to document decisions, trade-offs, risks and specs.
• Collaborative with adjacent engineering disciplines and full product ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture decisions for DAB, CLLC, and series-resonant converter stages.
• Select and qualify high-voltage SiC devices for high-current operation.
• Coordinate interfaces with front end, 800 VDC bus, controls, magnetics, and cooling.
• Drive risk reduction via simulation, prototype testing, and measurements.
• Mentor engineers, contribute to patents and technology roadmap decisions.
