Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a pediatric clinician to review medical records for AI training. You will assess FHIR data and clinical notes, including HPI, PMH, birth and developmental history, immunization status, assessments, and plans, to ensure accuracy and consistency in inpatient records.

The role emphasizes identifying missing or inconsistent information, weight-based dosing accuracy, and alignment with hospital workflows.

Qualifications

• MD or DO board certified in Pediatrics is required.
• Strong inpatient documentation experience is essential.
• Comfort reviewing clinical notes and raw medical record data.
• Experience with chart review or medical coding/QA is a plus.

Requirements

• Have strong relevant experience in the domain.
• MD or DO, board certified in Pediatrics (or Pediatrics with a Pediatric Hospital Medicine subspecialty certification).
• Strong understanding of inpatient documentation and hospital workflows, including admission, daily progress notes, transitions of care, and discharge.
• Comfortable reviewing clinical notes and raw medical record data.
• Experience with chart review, clinical documentation improvement, utilization review, or medical coding/QA is a plus.
