Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Hospitalist Physician for a remote, contract role. The position requires board-certified physicians with substantial inpatient experience to review records and support AI model improvements.

You will assess documentation quality, ensure accuracy, and provide actionable feedback to the project team. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, familiarity with inpatient workflows, and the ability to follow clear guidelines.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in the specified fields.
• Proven inpatient/hospitalist experience.
• Strong grasp of inpatient documentation and hospital workflows.
• Comfortable reviewing clinical notes and raw medical record data.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines.
• Experience with chart review, clinical documentation improvement, utilization review, or medical coding/QA is a plus.

Position: Hospitalist Physician

Type: Contract

Compensation: $100 - $120/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clear guidelines consistently.
• Experience with chart review, clinical documentation improvement, utilization review, or medical coding/QA is a plus.
