Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Therapeutic Area & Clinical Survey Expert to review physician and patient surveys for accuracy across therapeutic areas. This contract role requires deep clinical knowledge, strong written communication, and the ability to identify and correct inaccuracies in survey questions.

You will assess disease terminology, treatment pathways, and clinical scenarios, and provide evidence-based recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in a relevant therapeutic or clinical area.
• Deep understanding of disease, treatment landscape, and real-world clinical decision-making.
• Background in medical affairs, clinical research, medical writing, life sciences consulting, pharma market research, or healthcare insights.
• Ability to identify clinically inaccurate or incomplete survey questions.
• Strong written communication and analytical judgment.

• Ensure questions appropriately reflect physician decision-making and patient experiences .
• Collaborate with survey methodologists or independently assess both clinical content and survey design .
• Provide clear, evidence-based recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications Must-Have

• 3+ years of professional experience within a relevant therapeutic or clinical area .
• Deep understanding of the disease, treatment landscape, and real-world clinical decision-making.
• Background in medical affairs, clinical research, medical writing, life sciences consulting, pharma market research, healthcare insights, or clinical practice .
• Ability to identify clinically inaccurate or incomplete survey questions.
• Strong written communication and analytical judgment.
• MD or clinical degree is welcome but not required.
