Overview

The Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative and clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (Preferred)

Certification/Licensure

• Certification must be received within (9) nine months of employment in one of the following certification programs:
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Certification Options

• CCMA- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant or
• CMA- Certified Medical Assistant or
• RMA- Registered Medical Assistant or
• EMT- Emergency Medical Technician

Experience

• One year of clinical/administrative experience (Required)
• Phlebotomy experience (Preferred)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $21.69 - $32.14 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra‑shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
