Description du poste

Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie Company, is recruiting a Medical Advisor / Medical Science Liaison reporting to the Medical Affairs Associate Director for our Aesthetics division in France.

You are ideally based in: i) Paris, France; ii) Brussels, Belgium; or iii) Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

By joining our company, you will work with the Medical Affairs team to ensure that Allergan Aesthetics successfully supports and leads the market through medical/scientific engagement interactions, and that Allergan effectively positions its portfolio of products against competitors.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  1. Medical and Scientific Review & Information (50%)
  2. Support the development and review of promotional material content, ensuring medical/scientific accuracy and full compliance with AbbVie's policies and guidelines.
  3. Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, codes of conduct, policies, and standards of best practice.
  4. Provide in-depth clinical and scientific information related to Allergan products to internal staff and external customers on demand.
  5. Maintain an understanding of AA products and relevant therapeutics across the portfolio.
  6. KOL & Study Support for Benelux (40%)
  7. Maintain professional and credible relationships with national KOLs and academic centers, conveying medical value messages and identifying topics of interest among healthcare professionals.
  8. Work with clinical groups to define medical/scientific programs, including conducting advisory boards where appropriate.
  9. Screen investigator-led study proposals and manage requests in line with Allergan SOPs.
  10. Understand international, EU, and national legal, regulatory, and ethical requirements for clinical research.
  11. Support national investigators in Allergan-sponsored studies as appropriate.
  12. Business Unit and AMI Support (10%)
  13. Propose medical strategies within the Brand Team, providing expert medical input and building brand-aligned medical activities.
  14. Collaborate in executing the brand medical strategy as per the plan.
  15. Support the local Brand team and country manager with clinical insights, technical expertise, and scientific knowledge to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  16. Provide scientific support and assistance to country management to meet business needs.
  17. Assist in internal and external training events.
  18. Advise speakers for congresses, symposia, and other events to disseminate scientific knowledge.
  19. Support creation and delivery of scientific training and materials.

Qualifications:

Candidates should possess a Medical Degree, Pharmacy degree, or a bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or higher (PhD). The knowledge, skills, and qualities required include:

  • Fluency in French, English, and Dutch.
  • Strong interest in dermatology, with experience in the pharmaceutical industry and general knowledge of drug development and clinical research; experience in aesthetics is a plus but not essential.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and build strong scientifically-based relationships with opinion leaders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral, with the ability to adapt complex scientific data for different audiences.
  • Ability to plan and execute multiple complex projects while maintaining relationships; resilient, self-starter, focused on completing tasks.
  • Strong analytical skills to understand issues and opportunities, compare data, and develop solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural, and matrix environment.
  • Driven by results, high energy, maturity, and adaptability.
