Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie Company, is recruiting a Medical Advisor / Medical Science Liaison reporting to the Medical Affairs Associate Director for our Aesthetics division in France.

You are ideally based in:

• Paris, France
• Brussels, Belgium
• Amsterdam, The Netherlands

By joining our company, you will work with the Medical Affairs team to ensure that Allergan Aesthetics successfully supports and leads the market through medical and scientific engagement interactions, and that Allergan is successful in positioning its portfolio of products versus competitors.

Your main responsibilities will be:

1. Medical and Scientific Review & Information (50%)
   • Support the development and review of promotional material content, ensuring medical/scientific accuracy and compliance with internal policies and guidelines.
   • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, codes of conduct, policies, and standards of best practice.
   • Provide in-depth clinical and scientific information about Allergan products to internal staff and external customers upon request.
   • Maintain understanding of AA products and relevant therapeutics across the portfolio.
2. KOL & Study Support for Benelux (40%)
   • Build and sustain professional, credible relationships with national KOLs and academic centers, conveying medical value messages and identifying topics of interest among healthcare professionals.
   • Collaborate on defining medical/scientific programs and activities, including Advisory Boards.
   • Screen investigator-led study proposals and manage requests in accordance with Allergan SOPs.
   • Understand international, EU, and national legal, regulatory, and ethical requirements for clinical research.
   • Support national investigators in Allergan-sponsored studies as appropriate.
3. Business Unit and AMI Support (10%)
   • Propose medical strategies within the Brand Team, providing expert medical input and aligning medical activities with brand plans.
   • Support the execution of the brand’s medical strategy, providing clinical insights and scientific expertise to optimize patient outcomes.
   • Assist in internal and external training events, advise speakers for congresses and symposia, and support the creation and delivery of scientific training and materials.

Qualifications include a Medical Degree, Pharmacy degree, or a bachelor’s or higher degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., PhD). Fluency in French, English, and Dutch is required. A strong interest in dermatology, experience in the pharmaceutical industry, and knowledge of drug development and clinical research are advantageous. Experience in Aesthetics is preferred but not essential.

Key skills include strong communication and presentation skills, ability to develop scientific relationships, project management capabilities, and resilience in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. The candidate should be results-driven, mature, and adaptable.
