Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Medical Advisor located in Paris, with flexibility for remote work.

The role is initially planned until the end of 2026 with a realistic prospect beyond that.

Qualifications

• Medical degree or Master of Pharmacy (MPharm)
• Good understanding of the Pharmaceutical Industry and the remit of Medical Affairs within a cross-functional matrix
• Good working understanding of the ABPI Code of Practice with experience reviewing and/or certifying materials
• Fluent in French and English (speaking & writing)

Job Purpose

• Demonstrate medical or clinical expertise and industry experience to identify and address relevant medical needs of clinical practice, supporting Medical activities related to Chugai products.
• Ensure high standards of compliance, ethics, and safety of Chugai products, prioritizing patient safety.
• Maintain expert knowledge of marketed and pipeline products to respond to queries, train stakeholders, and influence strategic direction.
• Develop and implement medical plans and strategies aligned with business needs, managing associated budgets.
• Establish external contacts with French experts, patient and learning societies.
• Manage non-promotional tactics such as medical education meetings, advisory boards, and creation of medical resources.
• Lead activities at scientific congresses, including abstract submissions and educational symposia.
• Generate data to support product use throughout its lifecycle, including managing Investigator Initiated Trials.
• Support health technology assessments and market access submissions, leading on clinical sections.
• Assist brand teams and partners in co-promotional and co-development activities.
• Research, present, and provide expert opinions on scientific and medical information.
• Ensure medical information sources are current and regularly reviewed.
• Report adverse events to the Pharmacovigilance team as per SOPs.
• Review promotional and non-promotional materials for compliance.
• Participate in compliance training and process improvements.
• Assist with the development and response to company complaints.
