Seeking a highly motivated, ambitious, and dynamic Chief of Staff to work directly with the CEO in driving the growth of a fast-expanding AI startup. This is a versatile and strategic role, covering various key business areas, including sales, communication, fundraising, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales: Contribute to prospecting, participate in sales discussions, and assist with creating commercial proposals.
  2. Strategic Communication: Highlight the performance of the company’s models through articles and enhance the website with real customer case studies.
  3. Fundraising: Prepare essential materials for an upcoming funding round, including financial documents, sales pipeline, and pitch decks. Engage with relevant investors to maximize funding opportunities.
  4. Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the CEO and founders to participate in high-level strategic discussions, providing insights based on analytics to guide the company’s direction.

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Drive key initiatives that will accelerate the company’s growth while expanding your personal learning curve in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Work closely with the CEO to identify new markets, establish strategic partnerships, and uncover revenue opportunities.
  3. Conduct market trend analysis, evaluate competitor strategies, and understand customer needs to help inform business strategy and product development.
  4. Identify and qualify VP Data profiles to build a solid prospect pipeline.
  5. Help with outreach efforts, engaging with Chief Data Officers and Chief Digital Officers in target sectors to drive discussions around the company’s AI solutions.
  6. Assist in crafting persuasive sales proposals and support advancing leads through the sales funnel.
  7. Develop and manage marketing materials, presentations, and content for outreach (e.g., proposals, website, newsletters, board materials).
  8. Automate operational processes, such as candidate sourcing and data scraping, by establishing and managing effective workflows.
  9. Source suppliers and tools to address operational needs across the company.
  10. Support the CEO in preparing for board meetings, particularly for investor interactions.
  11. Participate in strategic discussions and provide data-driven insights to help guide key business decisions.
  12. Provide daily operational support to the founders across multiple initiatives and projects, helping organize and participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
  13. Develop and maintain tools to track and report on business operations and performance.
  14. Provide monthly summaries of progress, achievements, and areas for improvement in business development efforts.
  15. Contribute to broader strategic initiatives, such as boosting the company's online presence, organizing events, and testing new tools to support growth.

Qualifications

  1. Graduate from a top engineering or business school (e.g., X, CentraleSupélec, Mines, Ponts, HEC, ESSEC, ESCP, or similar).
  2. Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong, trust-based relationships.
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop compelling presentations and pitches.
  4. Fluency in both English and French is essential.
  5. Passion for AI, startups, and business development, with the ability to explain AI / ML solutions to non-technical audiences.
  6. A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to sales and business development.
  7. Highly motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
  8. Based in Paris, France.
