Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking an Industrialization Manager to lead the product industrialization efforts for med-tech portfolios, bridging R&D and manufacturing, and coordinating with global sites across France, Europe, North America and Asia.

The role requires an MSc in engineering and 5–10 years in industrial management, plus strong problem solving, teamwork, and fluent English. French is appreciated; frequent travel to R&D and manufacturing sites is expected.

Qualifications

• MSc in engineering with 5 to 10 years in industrial management.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrialization of medical devices with mechatronics system.
• Strong service orientation with analytical and business focus.
• Rigorous and structured, with excellent interpersonal skills in a multicultural context.
• Fluent English required; French appreciated.
• Frequent travel to R&D and manufacturing sites in France, Europe, North America, China.

Responsibilities

• Industrialization of new products: design manufacturing options, develop processes with IOQ/OQ/PQ, procedures, tooling and testing, benches, process improvement, CE/FDA/NMPA registration support.
• Product sustaining and improvement: manage change requests from R&D, Sourcing, and Manufacturing to improve costs, reliability, and performance.
• Manufacturing performance: sites benchmarking, sharing best practices within GEARS Dpt, and promoting lean manufacturing.
• Industrial project management: product transfers to other sites, automation projects, capacity expansion projects.
