Job summary

EssilorLuxottica in Île-de-France seeks an engineer (PhD welcomed) to lead laser and marking projects within the Center of Excellence. You will industrialize new processes, guide upstream studies to prototype equipment, and drive feasibility demonstrations.

You will collaborate with R&D, IP, and suppliers to advance laser applications for lens and frame manufacturing, manage cross‑functional programs, and ensure robust techno‑economic roadmaps in a global, fast‑paced setting.

Qualifications

• Engineer (or PhD) in physics or materials physics.
• At least 5 years of experience with laser applications, ideally laser surface texturing.
• Proficient in project management and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead laser process development in collaboration with upstream R&D studies (myopia control, tinting, etc).
• Ensure techno watch of patent activity in partnership with IP department within ophthalmic applications.
