Infinite Orbits, Toulouse-based NewSpace company, seeks a Mechanical & Thermal Subsystem Lead to act as the mechanical and thermal focal point for subsystems, including electronic boxes, cameras, and optical instruments.

You will lead design, sizing, and justification activities, participate in test campaigns, and ensure ECSS compliance while coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to optimize mass and reliability.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or related field).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in satellite mechanical and thermal design.
• Experience designing and integrating mechanical systems for large satellite platforms.
• Proficiency with CAD and FEA tools (Femap, NASTRAN, CATIA, SolidWorks, Esatan, Systema).
• Good understanding of launch vehicle requirements, space environment effects, and mass/cg management.
• Demonstrated experience in thermal-mechanical interface management and structural-thermal trade-offs.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing project requirements in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Job Description

Internal Development

• Lead and support design, sizing, and justification activities.
