Exyte seeks a Mechanical Package Owner to lead delivery of all mechanical systems for a large-scale hyperscale data center in France. You will be the single point of accountability from design through handover, coordinating with project management, construction teams, suppliers, and subcontractors on site.

You will oversee HVAC, cooling, piping, and associated infrastructure, manage schedules and budgets, review technical docs, and ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of mechanical construction delivery experience.
• Experience on data center / mission-critical projects.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping, and commissioning

Responsabilités

• Take ownership of the Mechanical Package scope throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage all mechanical construction activities including HVAC, cooling systems, piping, plumbing, and associated infrastructure.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Lead package progress meetings and coordinate all relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor package schedule, budget, quality, and risk performance.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring contractual and technical compliance.
• Review and approve technical documentation, specifications, drawings, and construction deliverables.
• Coordinate interfaces with electrical, I&C, security, logistics, and civil disciplines.
• Support procurement, contract administration, change management, and claim management activities.
• Ensure compliance with project safety requirements and local regulations.
• Identify and resolve technical and construction issues impacting delivery.
• Monitor commissioning readiness and support system handover activities.
• Prepare regular package progress reports and communicate risks and mitigation measures to project leadership.

As Mechanical Package Owner, you will lead the delivery of all mechanical systems within a large-scale hyperscale data center project in France. You will act as the single point of accountability for your package from design coordination through construction, commissioning, and handover.
Working closely with project management, construction management, design teams, suppliers, and subcontractors, you will ensure that mechanical systems are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and according to Exyte quality standards.

Show your expertise

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical construction delivery on complex industrial, mission-critical, or data center projects.
• Proven experience managing mechanical subcontractors and suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, cooling infrastructure, piping systems, and commissioning activities.
• Experience in project management and construction management.
• Data center project experience is required.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage schedules, budgets, risks, and multidisciplinary interfaces.
• Fluent English required.
• French language skills are an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site in France.
