Description du poste

We are seeking a Mechanical Technician to support the assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of systems. This role requires a hands-on technician with a solid background in both mechanical and electrical systems, particularly in precision assembly and RF component integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble components inside cryostats following established procedures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.
  • Support the build and installation of electronic instrumentation racks, including signal routing, power distribution, and configuration.
  • Conduct inspections, routine maintenance, and repairs on mechanical systems, RF components, and instrumentation.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation and logs of assembly, testing, and qualification procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers to understand technical requirements and provide support during experiments and system testing.
  • Perform on-site installation, repairs, and system upkeep activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Proficiency in mechanical assembly techniques, including reading and interpreting 2D / 3D CAD drawings and schematics.
  • Strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical diagrams and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Experience in assembling precision mechanical and electrical / electronic prototypes.
  • Familiarity with RF signal wiring, coaxial cable handling, and instrumentation rack configuration.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a proactive approach.
  • Fluency in professional English (written and spoken)
