This role involves the mechanical design and integration of products into electrical panels, requiring collaboration with multiple teams. Ideal candidates will also have strong problem-solving skills and a B2 level in English.

Description du poste

Reporting to the Product Development Manager, you will be responsible for the mechanical design and integration of Socomec products into electrical panels, within the context of projects and small to medium‑scale production runs. You will work in close collaboration with marketing, industrialization, and production.

As part of the mechanical development teams, you will design and develop mechanical solutions that meet the technical, regulatory, and industrial requirements of Socomec products.

Responsibilities

• Mechanically develop technical modules that can be integrated into electrical panels.
• Analyze and translate marketing specifications into technical specifications.
• Design mechanical solutions in a multiphysics environment (mechanical, electrical, thermal).
• Manage development phases according to the V-model: feasibility, design, prototyping, testing, and validation.
• Use and operate CAD tools.
• Collaborate with the qualification, industrialization, and production teams during technical discussions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and the capitalization of technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or a general engineering or mechanical engineering degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design.
• Skills in designing mechanical systems incorporating multiphysics constraints.
• Proficiency in CAD software, ideally CREO or NX.
• English B2 level.
