EFINOR INGENIERIE & PROCESS , a subsidiary of the EFINOR Group, is a design office specializing in mechanical engineering, general installation and technology integration, offering turnkey solutions. As part of the growth of its activities, EFINOR is recruiting a Mechanical Design Manager.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer , your main responsibilities will be as follows :

In the costing phase :

• Understand, analyze and summarize tenders specific to mechanical engineering activities : tooling, complete special machines and handling equipment,
• In workshops on customer sites, quickly understand needs, propose solutions and synthesize work paths,
• Research and propose technical solutions,
• Preliminary CAD mock-ups,
• Machine pre-sizing and pre-definition of commercial equipment.

In the business development phase :

• Conduct launch meetings with customers,
• Carry out surveys on customer sites,
• Complete 3D modeling of production tools, special machines, production lines, handling equipment in their environment
• Monitor, work with and validate other designers as needed,
• Contribute your experience to design reviews of other projects within the company.
• Ensure that the studies entrusted to us are carried out properly, in line with costs, quality and deadlines.
• Work jointly with all project stakeholders, including Operations Management, the Design Office Manager and the Project Manager.
• Take into account the regulatory and normative requirements.
• Adjust machines on completion of assembly, and carry out commissioning.

Technically experienced and proactive :

• You're at ease and you like technology : you've got hands-on experience in the field of special machines and mechanics, and you know the standards of the trade.
• You like to be involved in the development of your position and your company, and to carry out structuring projects as part of a team.
• You're keen to propose innovative solutions, and you're curious about recent industrial achievements.
• You are familiar with SolidWorks. Skills in other CAD software are appreciated (Inventor, Creo, Catia V5, Autocad2D...).
• You have a sense of responsibility and commitment.

The expected profile is as follows :

• With a Bac+5 degree in mechanical engineering, you have at least 10 years' experience enabling you to successfully carry out the tasks entrusted to you.
• Rigorous, committed and pragmatic with a strong taste for the field, you know how to manage your files with rigor, autonomy and freedom of action.
• Ideally, you are familiar with SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of CAD software is also a plus : Catia V5, Creo, Inventor, etc.
• As a pragmatic person with a strong taste for the field, you have good interpersonal skills,
• Your knowledge of industry standards is essential.

The proposed position is full-time and open-ended, and is located in Toul, near Nancy, in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department (54). It requires occasional travel, mainly to our clients' sites.
