Main duties and responsibilities

Join Kronospan, a fast-growing international industrial company, with more than 40 wood-based panel manufacturing sites all over the world, as one of our MDF Operators.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented MDF Operator to oversee and manage the operation of MDF production equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with MDF or similar wood-based panels in a manufacturing setting, ensuring efficient and safe production while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate and monitor MDF production equipment and machinery
2. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
3. Adjust machine settings as needed to meet product specifications
4. Troubleshoot operational issues quickly and effectively
5. Follow strict health, safety, and environmental guidelines
6. Record production data accurately and report any discrepancies
7. Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines

Requirements

Our perfect match for this role is someone production-oriented, highly reliable with a certain ability to work under pressure.
Also, to be our future MDF Technician you must answer the following prerequisites:

1. Proven experience in MDF production or wood-based panel manufacturing (minimum 2 years preferred)
2. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
3. Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and production schedules
4. Have a good level of English or French, German is a plus
5. Know how to use the Pack Office
6. Have a Technical Degree
7. Have good technical knowledge
8. Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts and weekends if required
