Sika is seeking an experienced Materials Analyst to join our team in Versailles, Kentucky, within the Automotive & Industry Business sector.

The Materials Analyst will play a vital role in order placement, inventory management, and communication with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth production processes.

• Manage supplier relationships
• Oversee inventory levels
• Create and revise purchase orders
• Conduct inventory adjustments and expedite shipments as needed
• Manage safety stock and minimum level thresholds based on business needs
• Perform physical cycle counts and investigate discrepancies
• Coordinate with manufacturing schedules and adjust shipping plans accordingly
• Communicate with internal teams and suppliers regarding production and inventory issues

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to identify root causes
• Excellent communication skills for clear information dissemination
• Proficiency in computer applications
• B.S. degree in Supply Chain or related field, or at least 3 years of relevant experience

Additional Responsibilities

• Conduct physical inventory and cycle counts
• Investigate inventory discrepancies to determine root causes
• Schedule component deliveries to optimize inventory turns and reduce obsolescence
• Review bills and invoices for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Adjust planning parameters based on changing business conditions
• Manage expedites and safety stock levels
• Analyze inventory to support production needs effectively
