We are supporting a major player in the global energy transition with the appointment of a MarshallingContract Engineer to support a portfolio of large-scale offshore wind projects in Northern Europe. Based in Paris, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the delivery of strategically significant clean energy infrastructure.
The successful candidate will manage Contracts & Procurement (C&P) activities with a particular focus on marshalling and logistics packages for offshore wind projects. This includes both the preparation and administration of contract strategies, coordination with technical stakeholders, and full-cycle management of the procurement process across various phases of the project.
Key Responsibilities
Contracts & Procurement
Lead and support C&P activities for logistics and marshalling scopes within offshore wind development projects.
Coordinate the preparation and execution of procurement strategies in alignment with internal governance requirements.
Prepare comprehensive call for tender (CFT) packages, manage prequalification processes, and coordinate tender evaluations.
Draft, review and support negotiation of contracts, variation orders, and contractual amendments.
Collaborate with technical teams to challenge and refine scope specifications to maximise value.
Liaise with project teams and procurement leads to ensure compliance with internal procedures and approval processes.
Support due diligence on suppliers, including market analysis, compliance screening, benchmarking, and risk assessments.
Assist in Capex and Opex estimation activities and provide input into project reporting and KPI tracking.
Maintain systematic use of ERP and sourcing tools including Ariba, AGORA, and internal systems.
Strategic & Operational Support
Contribute to the refinement of project contracting strategies, including EPCI vs. multi-contracting considerations.
Support service quality management (SQM) processes with suppliers.
Ensure continuous improvement by providing feedback and contributing to lessons learned across the project.
Travel as required to liaise with teams and suppliers in France and Germany.
Facilitate alignment and cooperation between international stakeholders including project teams, affiliates, contractors, and HQ support functions.
Required Skills & Experience
Background in Contracts & Procurement, Business, Engineering, or related disciplines with solid experience in contract administration.
Strong understanding of international tendering processes, commercial and technical evaluation, and contract management.
Previous experience supporting logistics or marshalling scopes in energy, infrastructure, or offshore environments is highly advantageous.
Familiarity with procurement systems and tools including Ariba and ERP platforms (e.g. MBC).
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and cultural contexts.
Fluent in English; knowledge of French or German is a plus.

The role supports the delivery of renewable energy projects in line with the client's long-term sustainability strategy. The assignment will be based in Paris, with occasional travel to project locations and partner offices in Hamburg or Berlin.
