Citi in Paris invites you to join the Markets intern analyst program for six months starting January 2027. You will work with our trading desks across rates, equities, commodities, credit, futures and FX to learn pricing, risk management and market analysis.

Under supervision, you’ll build tools in Python and VBA, assist in post-trade tasks, and gain exposure to desk operations and client-focused research. Opportunity to transition to a full-time program is possible.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a university offering an internship agreement (Graduation Year 2026/2027).
• Ideally on track to graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business or Engineering.
• Good understanding of finance and interest in Markets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Programming knowledge in VBA and Python highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Learn market making and trading book risk management.
• Develop pricing, hedging and analysis tools and strategies.
• Learn from experienced traders handling real-time pricing and risk.
• Support risk reconciliation, P&L, and trade booking activities.
• Contribute to quantitative research projects identifying trading strategies and improving risk models.
• Develop and test trade ideas using Python and VBA for better market insights.
• Assist in drafting term sheets and maintaining databases critical to desk operations.
• Prepare regular market updates from Citi’s research and trader insights.
