Nomura invites ambitious students to join its Global Markets team in Paris for a six-month internship (January–June 2027). You will work with the Rates Structuring group, assisting in pricing derivatives, building Python-based tools, and preparing pitches for clients.

This hands-on program provides exposure to trading, sales, and risk analytics, with mentorship and opportunities to contribute to market-ready data pipelines and reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Finance, Economics).
• Strong numerical and analytical skills; interest in interest rate derivatives and structured products.
• Proficiency in Python; Excel an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; team player able to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Support the structuring team in day-to-day tasks, including pricing of derivatives and structured notes, note issuance workflow, and coordination with the issuance platform.
• Produce marketing pitches and client presentations.
• Contribute to automation of the desk's platform through Python development — pricing tools, data pipelines, reporting and monitoring.
• Immerse in the rates structuring environment to gain the skill-set to operate as a rates structurer.
