Citi Paris is seeking intern analysts to join the Markets team in Paris. The Markets intern analyst program runs for six months starting in January 2027, offering hands-on experience across rates, equities, commodities, credit, futures and FX.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a university with a mandatory internship agreement (Graduation Year 2026/2027).
• Eligible to work in France with valid resident/work permit.
• On track to graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business or Engineering.
• Strong finance knowledge and interest in Markets.
• Previous experience in Financial Markets is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Programming knowledge in VBA and Python is highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail and good planning/organization.
• Intellectually curious and proactive with a growth mindset and mobility.
• Commitment to integrity and ethical decision-making.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Understanding of option pricing theory; derivatives experience is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Learn market making and trading book risk management.
• Develop pricing, hedging, and analysis tools and strategies to impact the trading desk.
• Learn from experienced traders and observe real-time pricing and risk.
• Support desk tasks like risk reconciliation, P&L, and trade booking.
• Contribute to quantitative research projects identifying trading strategies and improving risk models.
• Develop and refine trade ideas and market trend analysis using Python and VBA.
