Job summary

Citi Paris is seeking Markets intern analysts for a six-month program starting January 2027. You will work with experienced traders across rates, equities, commodities, credit, futures and FX to develop market-making skills and risk management tools.

Participants may be considered for a full-time program. The position emphasizes programming (Python/VBA), finance knowledge and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work model in Paris.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university that can provide an internship agreement through Graduation Year 2027/2028.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or Engineering preferred.
• Strong finance understanding and interest in Markets.

Responsibilities

• Learn market making and trading book risk management.
• Develop pricing, hedging, and analysis tools and strategies for the trading desk.
• Learn from experienced traders handling real-time pricing and risk.
• Support desk tasks like risk reconciliation, P&L, and trade booking to learn core operations.
• Contribute to quantitative research projects identifying trading strategies and improving risk models.
• Use Python and VBA to analyze market data and identify parameter dislocations.
• Assist in drafting term sheets and maintaining databases critical to desk operations.
• Prepare market updates and collaborate with Debt Capital Markets, sales, trading, banking, legal and Middle Office.
